a good environment and balance nutrition. Arowana, a big fish is no different.
ENVIRONMENT 

Tank size 

The biggest tank we provide seems to be very small when compared to the habitat they live in 

nature. The volume of the tank is often very small when compared to the size of Arowana. 

This often leads to many problems such as eating behavior, fear or stress. 

Quality of water

When keeping fish, many parameters are concerned, such as pH, hardness, the concentration 

of various elements both harmful and essential for their health.  A suitable filtration system both 

in terms of size and filtering material is a critical factor in the small world of large fish like Arowana.

NUTRITION

Receiving complete nutrition for both macro and micro nutrients are essential in keeping Arowana, 

especially for young fish where the development is growing fast. Raising Arowana, therefore, is 

very difficult to ensure proper growth with good development of all organs.

Maintaining good condition of adult Arowana seems to be more difficult because at this state they 

eat less due to many factors, especially for a digestive system while requirement for nutrients is still 

at a high level. It is difficult to know if the fish receives all essential elements or not. Arowana is 

carnivorous, but many elements such as vitamins and minerals are abundant in vegetables and fruit.

The difference in keeping Arowana is such that while in nature, the Arowana can select its food but 

keeping Arowana in a small world in the aquarium can bring about stress and ignoring its daily feed. 

Arowick consists of vital proportions of both organic and inorganic salts that are necessary to create 

a balance for both dietary and water quality that are most suitable for the fish. Besides vitamins and 

minerals, Arowick also consists of essential amino acids that are hardly to be found in the daily feed.

KHV

KHV is a viral disease which cannot be healed by medication, which is different when compared 

to bacterial infections that can be killed by a variety of antibiotics and chemicals.  Body immunity, 

through many kinds of white blood cells, is the most effective way to kill and control viral 

diseases. Somehow the system will work effectively when the host body is in a healthy state.

At this moment, the best way to prevent the loss of Kois is to pay more attention to the health of 

your Kois . Nutrition and water quality are the major issues to care for.

Vitamins, especially for vitamin C and minerals are elements that are essential for an effective 

immune system, though they are required in minimal amounts.Somehow vitamin c is known to 

be very unstable and also easy to from many salt in digestive system which will change it 

properties. 

Normally Vitamin C is required  daily in a very small amount but because of it unstable 

characteristic, almost all of commercial feed are lack of active vitamin C. Vitamin C in Koick is 

formulated by crucial technique and obvious seen its benefit after short term of dosing.
